Hi, this is Allen G's Wiki Page for the UDL course. I am a 6th grade math/science teacher at Ben Franklin Middle School in Teaneck, NJ.
My experience:
  1. Teacher since September, 1999.
  2. Career started in Hackensack, NJ from Sept 1999-June 2002 as long term sub and HS, MS special education, as well as 5th/7th grade Reading Teacher.
  3. Been in current position for 9 years(since 2002).

  4. 6th Grade Math Curriculum/Curriculum Map designer
Some other facts about me:
  • I completed my first Master's in 2008 in the RTC/TCNJ program. This is now my 12th course!
  • I'm currently 9 credits away from finishing my second Master's in School Administration at Montclair State University. I'm hoping to be done with this courseload by December.
  • This course, and one more RTC course will complete my M+32.
  • Married to my wife Eileen since 2005.
  • Favorite sports: Football and baseball/ Favorite Teams: Giants/Yankees
  • Saltwater fisherman & charter boat captain in my free time
